Data Gathering
I want to gather data on single-step color changes with a single snack type.

Please submit the form if you have some data you would like to share.
I am trying to find out how consistent the colors are by doing single steps, feeding one snack type until the "is growing new feathers" message.

I need all of it but, I really need some input for using pears and pineapples on the Desert Yellow, there are a lot of mixed results so far.

Please submit this Data Gathering Form

To clarify: What I mean by a single snack type is one session where you feed (for example) all Valfruit and end the session when one "is growing new feathers" message is received.

sample:
starting color: Desert Yellow
type of snack: Valfruit
Number fed before you got the "is growing new feathers" message: 5
Resulting color: Salmon Pink

Honey Yellow
Cieldales Pineapple x4
Doman Plum x2
Valfruit x2

I don't know if all of those gave him this colour, but that is just what I fed him. I kept the feed equal between all three, then I tried something different and I gave him two extra pineapple and he turns more yellow .

Still looking for any sign of Grape Purple out there.

So far my bird has gone:

Desert Yellow --> 16 Apples, 15 Berries (6hr Later)
Dalamud Red --> 5 Berry *feather change on the 5th* (6h later)
Rolanberry Red --> 4 Berry *feather change on the 4th* (6h later)
Regal Purple --> 5 Berry *feather change on the 5th* (6h later)

Left me at Royal Blue. I just fed it one Valfruit which gave me a feather message and then 30s later an apple which also gave me a feather message.

The RBG values on the spreadsheet for royal blue are pretty close to grape just a bit more red and less blue so I'm thinking I should be somewhat in the ballpark.

But if anyone's seen info on it thus far let me know!

Desert yellow is the default color of every chocobo, you will always start from it.
