I had a Royal Blue and received no "new feathers" message in my feeding of 12 Berries.. then I ran out of berries. Perhaps no more blue can be added, or it becomes more difficult?

Yeah same thing happened to me so I went the red direction with apples now I'm too dark and need to lighten him up a few shades.

Yeah I was thinking that, so fed him 10 apples... no feather message. Fed another 10... still no message. Now I'm just thinking that either there's a cap of how much you can feed your chocobo over a certain period of time, or that I have some other issue. Though I'll see if the color's changed at all in a couple hours. Maybe I'm just not getting the message even though he's being affected =X

Any idea how to turn this to sky/ice blue?

I had answered this for you previously. I'm pretty sure that Sky Blue is max cyan, all you should have to do is feed it plums.

I managed to go from Cream Yellow > Bone White > Cream Yellow

Sadly I don't have the logs of the last feed.

Was trying to shoot for Snow White.

Cream Yellow => Bone White = Feed Plums until you see a "Is growing new feathers" message in your chat log. Wait the time => result should be Bone White

Bone White => Snow White = Feed Plums until you see a "Is growing new feathers" message in your chat log. Wait the time => result should be Snow White

2 sessions gives you a greater chance for success and less snacks wasted.

It's *possible* there is a color in between Bone and Snow

Or this could be totally wrong as someone else has reported Desert Yellow + Plums (to the new feathers message) = Sylph Green but the data also suggests you can continue to do sessions wiith plums to get snow white .

I can confirm this!

Cream Yellow + 1 plum message = Bone White
Bone White + 1 plum message = Snow White

I was attempting to get "Slate Grey" from that google document that was floating around, and ended up with plum purple.

Any suggestions on what I should feed to try to get back to the original color I was aiming for? Or perhaps or any other grey color? Or black? Or ink blue? Anything except plum purple.

I hope it works out. Ink Blue and Deepwood Green are both VERY close to Soot Black but I've been having no luck on bumping my way over to Black. I'm on my 7th session now.
