Yes please i went from deepwood green to chestnut brown what you think would take me too soot black? I feed 3 pineapple got two growing feather and it should have took me to soot black but it ended up as chestnut brown.

I have a little problem with my chocobo. This mornign i woke up and the bird changed to Dalamud Red from Rolanberry Red. Could anyone help me to change Dalamud Red ---> Soot Black?

I suggest 2 berry 1 val,Feeding in this order : berry til empty , val til empty.
You might end up loam brown or kobold brown but its a lot easier to get soot black from there OR you might get Soot Black if you're lucky enough.if you get the result you need,please post the picture,thank you.

try 7 pear 7 berry 2 plum | Feeding order : 1 pear -> 1 berry then repeat until both of them empty then 2 plum
There's a chance you'll get one of the dark shade color.if you get the result you need,please post the picture,thank you.

My bird is also Midnight Blue. I've gotten a lot of different shades of dark blue, but no luck hitting soot black >.<

For both:

pineapple 2
apple 2
pear 2

Will land you at 6 6 6 away from perfect soot black, if your values are consistent, it will be soot black for sure, most have gotten it with worse variance above 10.
