I tried something to push me out of the loop, will have results in 3 hours.
Reading your previous post, it seems you are looking for exact numbers. If the feeds to have change the value over a range or +/- 3 to 6 then there are chances you won't hit the exact values for your given colour. There has to be some sort of approximation based on the ratio of R:G:B and the colour they most closely represent.

I appreciate your response, and agree with you as far as colors not exact. I've been assuming the same thing since I started coloring my chocobo, and suggest so to others as well. My question is more along the lines of.. why are we getting a ~20+ point swing in [r] value. Granted the values are exact, but in no way does going from Ink Blue > Kobold Brown make sense from 1 pineapple. +8 =/= +20 while simultaneously keeping green relatively untouched. I've tried to make sense of inbetween numbers but it really isn't coming together. The whole exact numbers thing was more directed at the 'new spreadsheet' suggestion. The numbers would worked based on that, but they are doing odd things in the first place to even be able to loop.

What I did on my last feed was pull it out of the 'dark' color spectrum. I gave it a +8 to all values to try and get it away from Kobold/Ink/Deepwood colors. I'm interested on where it will land (from Kobold) and if I can even out my numbers better from there.

It leaves one question open for me that I am not sure if it can be given as definite answer as of yet. When you count 1 piece of food given, is that food given until 1 of them procs to give the growing feather message?
Not saying my thoughts are any more true but I was thinking that perhaps any food given does have an effect on colouring and leads me to think what if the proc message only occurs if enough food is given to effect the RGB values enough to cause a change in colour?
