Chocobo dyeing R&D Thread - Post your results here!

I fed my chocobo in this order:

18 apples, 6 valfruit, 8 pineapples, 12 apples, 2 valfruit, 2 pineapples, 2 valfruit, 1 pineapple, 1 apple, 1 valfruit, 1 pineapple, 1 apple, 1 valfruit, 1 pineapple, 1 apple, 1 valfruit, 1 pineapple, 1 apple, 1 valfruit, 1 pineapple, 1 apple, 1 valfruit, 1 pineapple, 1 apple, 3 valfruit, 3 pineapple, 3 apples.


World first rainbow chocobo. (Will know for sure in 3 hours)

So my bird is Millioncorn Yellow with 4 apples. To get to either Dalamud Red or Wine Red, should I continue to feed it apples (I noticed someone mentioned feeding 10 without change from Millioncorn) or go with my current thought of a few Lighten-green fruits?

Mine became Royal Blue after feeding:
25 Berries, 10 Pears and 10 Apples

The order in which i've fed it is random though.. not sure if this matters.

I present: The Dalamud Red Chocobo



I fed it 32 Xelphatol Apples, 22 O'Ghomoro Berries, and 15 Mamook Pears in random orders. I started with 7 apples, 10 berries, then 8 pears. After we discussed the colors and how they could end up, I realized I probably screwed up somewhere and added another 25 apples, 12 berries, and 7 pears to shoot for white (since I was originally gunning for black).

FC mate of mine used 2 apples on her bird. Fed one at a time sequentially (once, waited 6 hrs, fed another apple, waited 6 hours) with NO change in bird color. She doesn't screenshot everything like I do... but does not recall seeing the "feathers" message.

I can now confirm that if you dye your Chocobo hours after the 6 hour countdown as long as you're still in the 6 hour window the effects of the food will still go through.

My chocobo is heavily armored and i can't fetch it now, but as you can see in the UI it's just a very pale yellow.

I saw on that list that someone got the Sky Blue color.
Any chance that someone found a print of it?

I fed it about x20 O'Ghomoro Berries "deepen blue", x20 Mamook Pear "deepen green", x15 Doman Plum "lighten red".
I honestly dont remember how many x of each i did feed, but atleast those amount. Hope it will give some help.
