I'm glad you brought this up, because I've got this to share in terms of cross-breeding from the new fruit seeds:

Yeah, Shroud soil can still crossbreed, but it's very rare (maybe 10% at best), but on the other hand you get multiple seeds. Interesting that it crossbred though, might make for some lightning-fast (well, comparatively) crossbreeding for specialty choco feed.
