    For some reason I have this horrible feeling it's only going to change the feather tips, like the legacy/recruit one. It might actually be the whole chocobo, but remember, this is SE lol

    I'm sure it is not the feather tips to keep the bonus chocobos special (the only chocobos with colored feather tips)
