So can someone possibly explain how long you should have to tend to this seeds before being able to harvest them? I am not a gardener by any means this is the first time I've grown anything. I planted last night..? Thanks in advance

Well so far I've only seen things that have a growth cycle of either 3, 5, 7, or 10 days (real time). My guess would be 5 for these. If you want to speed it up you can buy Fishmeal fertilizer from the merchant in the housing area, you can fertilize each plant once every hour and each fertilization shortens the amount of time it takes to grow slightly (how much it takes off is dependant on how long the plant itself takes to grow, but to give you an idea it's about a half hour if it's a 5 day growth cycle)

Might be the fastest growing plant out there then! Can you post yield results with what soil you used as well once they're harvested?

Dye seeds planted on patch day are ready for harvest already. I can not count, how many times we fertilised, but without fertilisation total grow time should be about 48 hours (maybe a little more). Will have to wait for the FC mate to log in and harvest to see the result, since we are on the agreement that you only harvest the seeds you planed.

So, from what I understand, if I want the feathers of my chocobo to be white I would have to give him one of each fruit multiple times till I get the desired color? Ugh...
