Actually, I might be able to shed some light on this. The difference between Midnight Blue and Dalamud Red is only 50 Red.

So, maybe as someone suggested, the number of fruits don't matter, only those that give the message about growing new feathers?

Again, it seems that just waiting one minute between feedings gives more consistency in getting the "grow new feathers" message. Disbelieve me if you like, it's your own fruits you're wasting, not mine :3

yeah i saw someone post before me this about that but i had thought that was a factor before i got here because my friend got the message with one apple and i got after three apples.

That is my current theory, trying to test now, got another 4-5 hours yet.

same with mine i will know when mine are done they should all be different colors but the two control

yeah should have some of the other stuff matter but yeah,
also yeah black and white seem like they will be hard to get i don't think its a line because to much red makes then blue which would explain alot.

I dunno how but I was able to get mine to Cream Yellow despite aiming for Snow White. I think I just need to add more green and I'll be set.

So currently I've fed my chocobo 1x Apple, then 20x Apple. I'm aiming for a red, Blood Red, Dalamud Red, any -red- red. He's currently at Pumpkin Orange after that. Should I just keep stuffing his face with Apples to get him to become more red until reaching a red I desire, or do I need to use other fruits? The methods seem terribly inconsistent (like Did the method for Dalamud Red (Xelphatol Apple x32, Mamook Pear x15, O'Ghomoro Berries x22), got Midnight Blue...) so I'm just curious as to how I should approach getting him to be red from his current orange. If anyone has ideas, please let me know... n_____n
