Yup, it sounds like only the fruits that give a message matter. Maybe there's some RNG to it and those who don't give a message have no impact on the chocobo's colour at all.I really, really think people need to stop using the existing spreadsheet and start a new one that reflects the number of fruits that gave the 'growing new feathers' message. then if we can duplicate those results we know we have a winning formula.
These multiple colors from the same recipe obviously isn't the answer.
Yeah following this I think you are correct. It's the amount of "growing new feathers" messages that are what changes the colour... and feeding it has a RNG chance to do so...I really, really think people need to stop using the existing spreadsheet and start a new one that reflects the number of fruits that gave the 'growing new feathers' message. then if we can duplicate those results we know we have a winning formula.

This is my Blood Red White Mage Chocobo! Love it!

if anyone was able to get this color - let me know![]()

i was using my custom font color thing in word and the numbers on the chart i think the reason he got a different color is because of rng and that he went over the number 255 and came back over at start. so what i did was simple. Number of fruit times 3 the most extreme possible added that to desert yellow then took away the 255 as if it wasn't there and got dalamud red so i think he got to much of another color from rng because he used so much fruit and got blue. so he got instead of like 113 22 22 he got different numbers that make midnight blue since as proven in previous post you can get different colors with different fruit and in different amount.

Can we feed multiple food at one go , so we can see more color change in 6 hours?

that would explain why they are getting different colors for same amount of fruits and why they get same color with different fruit amounts. so its all based on which way you want to take it to get it. if im right then tomarrow none of my should be super red they should all be yellow and maybe light orange. also to above post yes you can as long as after you feed fruit and it says timer it SHOULD be a different color from before so at last minute you can add lots of fruits. i dont advise doing to much unless you have spare fruit.

Peacock Blue!
21 O'ghomoro Berries, 10 Mamook Pear

I did *exact* same recipe and got Turquoise Green.
I fed my choco all of them at once, instead of 2 Feeds for peacock blue as stated on spreadsheet:
O'Ghomoro Berry x2 (no change) >> O'Ghomoro Berry x19, Mamook Pear x10
Did you do yours all at once or in 2 feeds?

Everyone keeps getting different results using just berry counts... it has to to be wrong and shouldn't be listed on the spreadsheet cuz its a total waste of money for people if they get the wrong color.
Do we know who controls the spreadsheet and if they can reset it and start over with 'growing feathers counts'? Perhaps we should even start a new thread???I really, really think people need to stop using the existing spreadsheet and start a new one that reflects the number of fruits that gave the 'growing new feathers' message. then if we can duplicate those results we know we have a winning formula.
