Chocobo dyeing R&D Thread - Post your results here!

I've read a lot of threads and they were all saying different things when it comes to getting the color black. Has anyone tried something that worked?! I really want a black chocobo or anything close to that!

Ya i'm waiting for someone to post how they got Soot Black and what i need. I know some people are also waiting for snow white i'm sure someone would get them soon enough. I would try and do it myself but waiting for my seeds to grow.

Yeah, that was my post. I'm not sure if I'm going to screw it up or not though, since now I'm kind of shooting in the dark here, so to speak. I decided to go from 30 22 15 to --> 32 25 25. I have no friggin clue if that's going to make my bird finally go black from loam brown or not. I have about 3 hours or so until I get my answer, but I'm praying someone gives me a sign that I'm doing the right thing or what I should change in order to save myself before another 6 hour wait. If it's indeed 30 30 30, then I'm not far off, but I'm kind of reluctant to risk it... Not sure... I can say this however, if I get him to change color at what I have him at now, and he doesn't go black, I'll definitely go 30 30 30 next, or 35 35 35, if someone else doesn't get there first before me.

I'm trying my best to come up with one right now. The best I got was the Loam Brown I posted several pages back. There was only one other person I believe that came close to it. They had a Slate Gray bird. They theorize that a little bit more of what they had would get them to Black. I'm trying to figure out how to go from Loam Brown to Black somehow. Too many green/blue/purple posts in here to get an answer yet though, unfortunately. I'll keep trying. Hopefully someone gets it soon.

It was posted earlier to be: x21 O'Ghomoro Berries x7 Xelphatol Apples x7 Mamook Pears.

Fed 1 Plum, got message about feathers changing. Fed 2 more Plums, no message. Fed 3 Berries right after and got message about feathers changing after last feed. Will see color in 5 hours o/.

Got Ul Brown from this combination.

Fed 1 O'Ghomoro Berry, got plume change message. Feed 4 more O'Ghomoro Berries, got plume message on last two. So 5 more berries with 3 message of plume change.
