I'm trying to do this as well. At this point I've fed it 15+ pears and gotten zero feather messages, so I assume that's not the correct path? Any ideas? It seems like it would need to deepen all the values but I must be doing it wrong...

Can any say me how i come from rolandberry red to midnight blue? i come last to days from dalam. red to rolandberry red, then to regal purple then back to dalam. red then back to rolandberry red then back to regal purple than again back to dalam. red.... x.x ?

3 Doman plums took me from Slate grey to Cereleum Blue. According to the calculator now, 7 pears 5 berries and 4 apples should take me there to Morbol Green, which is what I have just fed it.

So.. my friend is stuck in a royal blue/regal purple loop, and he's trying to get it to be ink blue. I believe he's been using the darkening fruits over lightening ones, but seeing as royal seems to be at the deep end of the blue, maybe he should try using -red/green/blue? I'm not sure. He's been getting very irritated with his multiple attempts at changing colors only to yield royal blue/regal purple...

Went from kobold brown to Deep wood green again.

I'm just gonna keep feeding it the appropriate light fruit until it raises the values enough to hit soot black. I think I got my values so low that each time I use a fruit it can only choose from the 3 dark colors at the bottom of the spectrum.
Well at least that's my theory.

Does anyone have advice for me on this?

Fed him one valfruit, with message, so we'll see this afternoon. Advice truly welcome.

I am trying to get Lotus Pink and after spending several hundred thousand gil following the instructions on the various threads I am stuck at Colibri Pink.

Would one of you be able to tell me which fruits I need to feed my choco to get to Lotus from Colibri?

I was trying to find this out too, but all I know is that valfruit might not be the way to do it. I ended up with plum purple.

Tried this as well, as Digitalglass said, had troubles with pears :

Berries 9 (11)
Apples 10 (10)
Pears 9 (17, I managed to feed him 8 pears then no proc for 8, then last pears proc.. Hope that won't lead me onto troubles)
