Ok so from regal purple ( 103 55 87) I did

5 pears
1 berry
5x all lighteners
1 Berry

In that order, all proc'd new feather. Using the +/- 5 That should put me right at 43 45 38 (soot range)


From Raisin Brown ( 71 55 23 ) I did

2 Pear
2 Berry
2 Berry
2 Berry
1 Pineapple

Which would put me right at 36 40 38.


Will report back in 4 hours. Im running this on 2 characters and aiming for dark blue or soot black

This is the RGB scale im going off of. If this takes me to the colors near or as expected only time will tell

Because you were wrong, you need to replace 5x lighteners with 5x deepeners (need 5 apples, 5 berries and 5 pears) then you're right on it.

Does anyone have confirmation that using 1 feather message from feeding Pears to Rolanberry Red will achieve Grape Purple. I've been feeding this bird nonstop since they were implemented and I've bounced around 12 colors already. I've tried taking people's advice, following charts using RGB calculators and none of it has given me any real progress towards this color. I'm at a loss if this gives me something random that hasn't been listed because I just don't know what to feed to put me there.

If someone is available to talk to me and help me when my bird spits out in 2 hours, or can give me a better feeding to do before he becomes ready now I would appreciate it.

finally got soot black from deepwood green with 1 valfruit!!!! ty everyone who came up with the ways to reach the color. I wish everyone who wants that color the best of luck and be 100x luckier than I was.

Alright, I managed to get Seafog Blue, I'm aiming for Sky Blue, which is a few points in all 3 colours above mine. Any suggestions?

My choco is currently Cactuar Green... After following a guide to get slate grey... I'm so tired of this. Does anyone have any clue how I could get from Cactuar green to some form of grey or black? I would really appreciate it.

I got Woad Blue when shooting for Charcoal Grey today.


First fed 11 apples and reached Millioncorn Yellow.




Then fed 14 pears and 15 berries, which resulted in Moss Green.




Finally, I acquired the last 10 berries, but ended up with Woad Blue instead of Charcoal Grey.




I really like how it turned out so I'm probably sticking with this instead of trying for Charcoal again. Until I get bored of it, at least.

** Ok just got home to check and he's now currant purple......... Fed two pears, growth message after each.... hoping to hit lucky but will more than likely not lol

Soot Black still being elusive to me! Ended up with Shadow Blue after using 2 pears from Currant Purple. Fed 2 apples (proc after 2nd) and 1 pear (proc message received after this 1 pear) and ended up Marsh Green. Have fed 1 berry (proc message received) and will find out in 6hrs.

Stuck on a never ending circle now between Royal Blue, Regal Purple, and Dalamud. Been trying to get Rolanberry which everyone seems to be able to achieve from Dalamud red by feeding berries except me. I have tried the whole mixing fruit things and RGB formulas, used my own processes and got closer, but still cant seem to find Rolanberry. Ironically i have been able to help members in my FC get the colors they want but i cant seem to help myself!!

Currently Dalamud Red.
Fed two Berries got "begins growing new feathers" message. So her is to hoping that I get Rolanberry...and not find Regal Purple again...for the 4th time. At least i know i can feed it an apple to put it back :P
