Starting Colour: Deepwood Green


You could give this combo a try:

x9 Valfruit
x6 Pineapple
x2 Plum

You essentially need to push your RED/BLUE way up and your GREEN down a tad. This combo should result in an RGB of around 90R 31G 53B (assuming +/-5 average integer and using the original RGB spreadsheet) and should push you into the darker purple range; not sure if it will hit Grape purple (might need additional tweaking). Remember your mileage may vary.

P.S: There's really not an exact formula for the colours.
P.P.S: It's late here and I'm hoping my napkin math isn't off. Don't hate me if you don't get exactly Grape Purple.

The above is the number of fruits to feed and not specifically the feather messages. By feeding the above you should see at least 1 if not multiple feather messages.

I fed it before I went to bed according to your original quality because I was getting too sleepy to see if there would be an update and it turned back to Regal Purple. I just gave it 2 Apples and 1 Pear in hopes of finally ending where I want, so if you have anything I should be adding to it let me know! I appreciate the help, I've just gotten regal purple about 6 times now so I'm ready to get away from it again

I'm pretty new to this thing. How much fruit would I need and how would I go about feeding to get a desert yellow chocobo to kobold brown? I tried looking at the spreadsheets but I don't really see all the much information on how to achieve this color in one go. Would one of you chocobo dyeing guros be willing to help a novice out?

Just a quick update.

Cactuar Green -> fed berries until new feathers
Torquoise Green -> fed 1 pear with new feather message

Keep in mind I went back to Cactuar green from torquoise green by using an apple until I got the feather message.

My color is always rotating to either hunter green and morbol green. anyone who can assist in getting soot black or a deeper hue for this? current color is morbol green. thx

yeah man i saw your freaking post hopefully i get back to that color(hunter green) and try your combo feeds but for now what can you or anyone recommend for a Morbol Green Base color to get soot black or anydeeper hue

went from abyssal blue to Soot Black 5 pears 5 apples and 1 or 2 berries(just have to see the feather message)

But now i'm stumped yet again. Please help me out, i'm so close. ;_;
