First attempt, random feedings just to wing it >_> Regal purple



Then I threw on some more darken blue, lighten green and got Dalamud red (no idea how adding more blue to purple, gets red lol)

About 3 pears and 2 plums and I ended up with plum purple >_> Just kind of winging it until I get a color that makes me go "Yeah, I like that" lol
I couldn't get a better picture mostly because it's night and I had already started feeding him again so.... yeah lol

So apparently, the darkest blue you can achieve with straight berries is Royal. Which is obviously not the darkest blue. I'm aiming for midnight, void, or ink blue. None of them seem to involve red or green (in my opinion, but I'm horribly colorblind), so what should I be adding to the mix to achieve said results from Royal blue? Help a visually crippled guy out here?

You need to go heavy on pears and some apples.

5 more apples -> 4 feather messages. Sunset Orange.

4x Xel Apples : Milicorn Yellow
-10 Xel Apples : Sunset Orange
-18 Xel Apples : Mesa Red
-30 Xel Apples : Blood red

since he got orange with way less apples there might be a cap I think

Ive reset my Chocobo to Desert Yellow(Or Base I believe is Desert Yellow?) and fed it about 15 or so Berries, 12 had the "New Feather Message". Most have been saying around 13 Messages gets them Lavender so I'll see what that does for me.
