Personally, I don't think they messed up the hunt at all. Most hunt groups would ask someone who found a B rank to "Wait until we get done with all these A's. No, we can't invite you to our party, but you're a douche bag if you kill the B mark." I think the improvement would be to move the B's into the daily and make the weekly a hunt where you sit and wait for a fate to pop. Why should I get more for something that spawns every 5 seconds than for something I could wait for an hour or more to pop? Just seems kind of backwards.

As far as hunting goes, when you hunt, you hunt. You're in a party, you follow your group, you hunt the target, you move to the next. I am on Siren, and I have yet to worry about meeting my caps. There are many times by the end of the weekend where the only thing I can earn are allied seals. I'm maxed out on Tomes of Soldiery and I'm constantly buying junk with Myth Tomes so I don't feel like I'm completely wasting my time.

So I guess the question anyone here could pose is, how are people getting all level 110 gear in a week or two through hunts? They can't. Yes, they can get drops in extreme trials, but through hunts? Let's do the simple math. A piece of level 100 gear is between 375 and 825 Tomes of Soldiery (TOS). You have a weekly cap of 450. This means that you can buy one small item (ring, choker, circlet) per week or save for two weeks for one larger item (chest, pants). It takes 750 allied seals to upgrade one of the larger items, which at an A rank each (20 TOS) is 37.5 hunts. This is 15 hunts where you don't earn any more TOS via hunts. That's not to include any TOS one earns via trials, etc.
