Latest patch, making The Hunt even more unbearable

This patch has obliterated the "fairness" of The Hunt. It was never really fair to begin with since you could easily get full ilvl 110 on every piece of gear over the course of like two days if you tried hard enough, however the latest changes have made it impossible. I play on Moogle and The Hunt is pretty popular on there, I've been doing them myself up until today, I attempted to do some hunting but once an A rank is discovered (which is the only one people search for now) literally 200-300 people teleport to that area to kill it...

This lags the area massively, plus people like myself and I imagine PS3 users will never get to them in time, it takes me about a minute to load into an area I teleport to when there is an A rank there, and because people have no patience it always gets pulled within about a minute of it being spotted. So I can never get to any of them in time. To put this in perspective, today on the day the patch has been released 20+ A ranks have already been killed, I was in the area for all of them, yet I have only managed to get the reward for two of them. Even if I can get to them before they die with the sheer amount of people around it I never see it as once again the loading priorities are messed up like they used to be with Odin and Behemoth. Honestly this is making the game basically unplayable as far as I am concerned, my whole FC is already sitting on ilvl 105+ thanks to The Hunt and Coil 2, I'm still sitting on ilvl 101 having managed to get one Sand of Time since the release of The Hunt

There NEEDS to be a weekly cap placed on Allied Seals because this is just ridiculous, at least if there were a cap people getting it done early in the week wouldn't bother later in the week leaving it open for all of us with slow PCs, internet connections, etc. At the moment however the game is nearing the point where I may be forced to cancel my subscription as it is unplayable.

In practical terms yes... but do you really think most ppl realize that?

I do agree the changes to the hunt can't even be called a band aid fix . with B rank out of the equation, people are swarming to the As and instant pulling so they get max credit.
Was bad enough before patch with people just pulling as they turn up, now it's a 100 times worse.
A better fix would be that if your not in a party as long as you do enough contribution you should get max credit.
Their are times like queuing for ST etc that you cannot join a party and being able to still get credit outside a party would suffice, but killing an A rank, blowing all cool downs and doing more than most actually there and getting near zero credit is a joke.

Okay a couple of things. First of all, YES people did in fact hunt bs. Maybe not everybody did, but many did and gave us people in hunting groups something to get while waiting for A s to come back up.

That being said, the REAL problem now is that because you removed Bs completley (I don't care about you stupid weeklys, you know what I am talking about). Now you have made people even more dirty and rotten than they were before. Everyone is like vultures on steroids, racing to the mark. How do you possibly think this is going to end well?

I mean seriously people, if you miss an A you have to wait another 4 hours or so, to MAYBE get another chance.

I'm on Moogle as well and I seem to do just fine. Can I ask, are you a PC user on a console user? Because I'm both, and my experience changes dramatically depending on which I'm using at the time.

If I'm on the PC I normally have no problem getting to hunts when they are reported. My PC has an SSD on which the game is installed, which I think makes a massive difference. My teleport times are practically no different than normal on the PC. Maybe half a second difference. However, if I'm on PS4 then I experience the incredibly long load times that you suffer from as well. My PS4 still has the regular stock hard drive that it came with. It is harder to get to the hunts on time when using the PS4, especially for an S rank. But it is still possible.

What I would suggest is this:

1) Join as many linkshells as possible. I'm in about 5 hunt ones myself and can invite you to one if you like. It's not a big linkshell as it's my FC's one. But all hunts that I find myself get reported to that linkshell 15 seconds before the rest of mine.

2) If possible install an SSD into your PC/Console. It's not a cheap option I know, but it does make a massive difference.

They went too far with adjusting the B mark. They should have put at least ONE B mark as daily with 15 seals reward. And put three B's mark for weekly with 50 seals reward for each. This way all the casual can still semi organize a run for B mark, but no longer become a zerg zombies. And you can earn a very decent amount of seals per week, as it is now, the weekly is pitiful but yes way better than before. And for the love of god, either put back myth and soldiery reward to B mark, or take them out completely from Hunt.

And let's face it, if you take out oil and sand from Hunt as reward, 75% of these Zerg Zombies will completely disappear and go back doing their dungeon run. Still not understand how they don't see this, oil and sand should also be available to purchase with your myth currency.

are you sad that your getting left behind? cuz thats all im really hearing here. i have been hitting Hunts hard (on excalibur no less) and i have only got one log so idk where you get this "easily" claim. Anyways the seals are not the real gold here... its the myth! especially since most are in the atma book phase. I sympathize with the lag issues but you either 1. have to respond faster to shout outs OR actually be hunting yourself or 2. put it down for awhile and focus on something else. THE SYSTEM IS NOT BROKE its the peopling hunting that breaks the system. no more changes!
