A: This is referring to oil of time and sands of time, right? The development team has a plan outlining the timing with which these items would gradually spread from the top-tier of players, becoming easier to obtain with the introduction of new encounters. This plan is adjusted as we monitor player progression. Patch 2.3 will see the continuation of the Crystal Tower, and we plan to add oil of time and sands of times as rewards here. However, this doesn't mean there will be changes to their drop rate. Rather than making it possible to obtain everything right away, we’ll gradually add the items you can obtain in patch 2.3, 2.35, and 2.38.

A: As I mentioned during the previous Letter from the Producer LIVE, they will not all be dropping at the same time. We'll add them gradually as we progress through patches. We're planning to have unidentified Allagan tomestones drop first, and the drop rate will be about 30%. We'll be making adjustments based on the clear rate of the Second Coil of Bahamut and everyone's average item level.

Saw no mention of it in patch notes. Are we seriously waiting til 2.38 for them?

With the unexpected easiness of obtaining them from hunts. I thought the dev team would them next. I've gotten 8x of them from hunts alone and I don't even hunt that much. I was hoping that adding them to ST would have at least ease up the zerging. Doesn't really make sense hold back the item from casuals when it's so widely available.
