Help with Recruit a Friend program.

Hi,

I'd really appreciated if somebody will explain to me, step by step how you proceed with RoF program.

I've generate the RoF link for my friend. She registered and now have Trial account somehow.

Where we should put her RoF code? :O

Can you explain to me like:
- Create a RoF link
- Friend click on it and that? She got a code? Need to enter it where?

Can you make a guide like for dummies? :P

You can not enter Friend code on a trial account.

Once your friend has a full game, a link will appear on their mog station. They will have to enter it before purchasing additional time.

So basically,

1. I create a link for her
2. She click on it, create account, she has trial?
3. She buy game, enter game key = full access. normal account
4. She enter RoF code in Moogle Station
5. Later she buy/add more time and we get bonuses.

Did I get it right?

Yes, that is correct. Although I believe they could create a trial account without Recruit a friend.

OK, I've send email to a friend. She created new Square-Enix account. She went to Moogle Station and clicked on add account service.

Page says she need to buy game... Where is this 30 days/14 days free time to try a game? oO Will she get game code to add FF14 account in Moogle Station?

When she buys the game, there's three possibilities:
• If she gets a PC copy of the game, it will come with a code she'll need to enter at the Mog Station.
• If she gets a PS3 or PS4 copy (anywhere other than by buying it through the PSN), it will come with a code she'll need to enter through PSN.
• If she buys a PS3/PS4 version from PSN, no code is needed for this part.

Once that's taken care of and she has a full (rather than trial) account for the game, then there will be a button on the MogStation (under the "Account Services" tab) for "Enter Recruitment Code". That's where she'll enter the Friend Code you generated for her. This can be done any time after registering the purchased game and before paying her first subscription fee (typically 30 days later, as that's how much time comes with the purchase of the game).

Actually, that page is a little vague about where purchasing the game fits into the pattern. It just says:
"When your friend receives your message with the enclosed recruitment code, have them create a Square Enix account if they have yet to do so, then register the recruitment code via the Mog Station."
It does rather sound as though entering the recruitment code comes first, when in fact it seems they need to enter the purchase code first (or buy through PSN, which takes care of the purchase code behind the scenes).

RaF is completely independent of Free Trial - those are two separate campains / promotions. For your friend to be able to enter your RaF code she needs to purchase and register full version of the game. This will give her 30 days of included subscrition and in the Moogle station will be button to enter your RaF code. She needs to enter this code prior adding any extra (payed for) subscription days to her account. Once she will pay for at least 30 additional days you'll both receive the Friendship Circlet reward and you only Aetheryte Pendulum, for anther 60 days you'll receive the "double seater" Draught Chocobo.
