    There are so many things that could go wrong with a parabolic (that's the term, not parable, since English isn't your first language) curve to any of the jumps. Just look at the U'Ghamaro Mines - with an actual parabolic curve, you'd either only be able to jump to something 2 yalms in front of you, or you'd break out of the map every single time you tried.

    Adjusting the curve of a parabolic function is pretty easy though, just need to calculate ceiling height - although in most places there is a lot of room to jump. Perhaps with adding height calculations they can just add a separate animation for "ceiling 1 inch above me head", I've seen Dragoons jump into the ceilings before lol.
