So according to the judges they felt my staff showing was "out of place." See, this is when I wish we had the opportunity to explain our shots just a little bit. Even if it was like a couple of words, I always feel like people don't get the actual story out of my shot I intended for them to get. I know some of you probably think "Well Marik, a picture is supposed to be worth a thousand words." But, is the picture worth "my" thousand words? or the viewers thousand words? Every time I go into a shot, I first think up a story I want to tell, this is an "RPG" game, so playing a role and telling a story, even in a contest such as this, just seems kind of relevant to me personally.

As far as the non-elimination round goes, I mean if that's what you feel like needs to be done. I kind of understand, even on a personal level, about having friends just vote for you and not for the actual best shot. I've had a few friends (3) that have helped me in past shots, and 2 have voted like once or twice. I always tell them to vote for the best shot, not just mine because we're friends. I personally don't want to win just because I have an influx of friends willing to vote (which is not the case with me lol) I want to win because I did a good job!! I've never once (except on the stranded on a desert shot) disliked any of my shots so far, or felt I didn't give it my all so far. So I could see where concern would arise if people felt others were getting friends to vote just for them. Sure it may be a volunteer contest all around (both models and judges), but that doesn't mean we can't go all out and act as if it is a real reality show contest and have fun doing so!

I'm glad we're getting an extension at least on the shoot, because I have not had time to really get mine done for this week just yet, and trying to log on my PS4 looks like a no go >< Hopefully us console players can get logged on soon w/in the next day or so, because I really don't want any of us being auto-eliminated due to forces outside our control ; ;

Well, either way this round I enjoyed a lot! And even if others didn't find my shot what they wanted it to be, I loved it and was proud of it ^^

A contest like this is bound to seem like a popularity contest or turn into one when you open it up to the general population. I've only ever had my Boy-friend vote for me. He's helped me at least three times and I'm glad he supports me. It's a positive thing if a models FC wants to get involved and help that model out.

Would be awesome if we could explain our shots. There have been weeks were my vision has been missed. Also, as a modeling contest, I feel like we should be judged more on the presentation of the shots (How the model fits with the background, what our pose, facial expression and outfit fits with the over-all theme.) instead sometimes it gets stuck on "dead space" and "Lighting".




I understand how hard it is to make these decisions and I don't envy you at all. We're all one BIG happy family and I don't think anything was intentional to boost ones votes. HAPPY MODELING EVERYONE!

Yeah, with my shot for Haukke Manor, it was noted that people thought I was casting Holy (In Haukke Manor Normal) >_>; my aspect of the picture was that I doing a ritual scene with esuna, but I guess it wasn't creepy at all and I sorta did notice the votes from the voter's server and who they were voting for (TT AT).

Unfortunately, when it comes to competitions like this people are gonna vote for their friends. Ever since this competition has started, it's been very obvious who votes for their friends and who doesn't, simply by corresponding the servers. Whether its server pride, friendship or what not, it's going to happen....I've seen it happen alot but I never felt that compelled to msg Ty about it, cuz honestly, you're not gonna be able to do anything about it at this point in the competition.

What people need to remember is that the judge's scores are there for a reason. As Sangriah pointed out, the judge's score heavily in on shots. You can have all your friends vote, but if your shot sucks, the judges will not like it and you're in deep do do.

I'm sorry if my friends voting for me has pissed anyone off, but honestly I can't feel all that bad considering I've been seeing the same thing going on with people and their corresponding servers. The night of deliberation last week, I was a bit sad and my friends asked why. I told them cuz I was prolly being voted off, so some of them said they would vote to help me out...I didn't think it would be that big of a deal. I'm also not one for hand outs. If my shots suck don't vote for me, but when I'm told they aren't, it's great to hear.

Anyway I'm sorry to Ty and the rest of the ENTM crew for all this drama. Stay frosty everyone and have a good rest of the Holidays~ New Year's coming up (oh and my Bday on the 29th)! I also hope that all PS players can get in to take their shots...this is very stupid that people would hack or mess up video games...anyone let's to hoping you guys can get in soon ><

Don't blame yourself for anything Adeline, I don't think anyone has pointed fingers that it was you, plus you can't control your friends and what they do. They're people with free wills, that will do what they please, that's the beauty of humanity!

I don't think anyone is really at fault, or should be for that matter. We all are the ENTM peeps, and we all get to do this pretty amazing contest together! I've enjoyed the entire time I've been doing this! It's really made me think outside my normal ideas about screenshots and how to take them with my Marik.

Hopefully we can all just move past this round, and continue forward into the next round, ready to show off our sexy bodies!! Teehee :3

Super belated season's greetings to everyone! I was so overwhelmed with last-minute baking, cooking, and Christmas shopping that I've only had a few minutes to come and see this thread every few days!

I'm very happy that there was a non-elimination round for Christmas (who wants that news on Christmas?!) at the same time my little heart quivers with fear for a double elimination.

Is this the famed Quadruple Elimination, where 4 people fall in one deadly shot!?

I do want to bring up one thing - in Cycle 4 I have already decided to change things up a bit by allowing captions to be submitted along with each shot, which should help a little with the "explaining your shot" thing.
