Sorry I've been gone so long. ; ; But I never stopped reading, judging, or working on the youtube show!

Congratulations Adeline on your big win! Cycle 3 was the best yet! Great video Eirwen!!

The youtube shows are put together and just waiting on two things. 1) Xyhr's voice actress to send in her lines. and 2) The judges critiques! We are getting together this sunday to record them! And if we DON'T record them this sunday, then you guys are just gonna have to do without because I cant wait any longer. xD

I changed the voting system after seeing Cycle 3, and I hope everyone is happy with it. 7 judges each make their own Call out order, and the models receive points for where they fall in the line up. For example
First - Model B 1 point
Model C 2
Model A 3
Model E 4
Fifth - Model D 5 points
Then, I add up all the scores. So lets pretend Model E was in fourth for all 7 judges, and Model D was 5th. Model E would have a score of 28, and Model D would have a score of 35. Being the two highest scores, those Models are up for elimination! But just because Model D has the most, does not mean she goes home. The 7 judges then get to think about previous rounds, and you know what? Model D has been in the top 3 every round since round 1! Model E on the other hand has struggled to make Top 5. So in the end, the 7 judges are able to send home Model E, giving Model D another chance.

At the end of the 5th round, the Fan Favorite will be brought back into the competition. And in the Final Round, we will have one more round of voting where you guys decide the winner from the final 2.

I think this voting system will be well liked by all of you since the models still get to show off their work and receive credit for it! ^^

Annnnnnd, how does everyone feel about a premier party for the Youtube Edition on the Courriel Server? I'm thinking Feb 22 or March 1!!! And we will have another Raffle Drawing for 1 month of FFXIV ((Last party's winner was Iris! ))

Auditions for YT Cycle 2 will begin that night as well! Any past competitors who want to enter on a second character may do so, don't forget! Our community has shrunk a bit, i think, but as long as we keep fantasing and making alts we can go on forever and ever and ever. I leave for Japan in either May, June, or July, still not sure exact date, so we will play -that- part by year! But after producing one season of YT Cycle, I know how to make the next one easier on myself. -_-; lol So time isnt an issue!

I'm not sure I understand the new judging rules at all, but sometimes I'm not all that bright ; ; lol... maybe you or someone can explain it to me better (sorry ; ; )

Sorry, I'm a little confused about this method. How would public voting be used? Will there be a public voting? I think it's a good idea to push out any bias in voting and also prevents models from influencing the scores. However, I do wish to point out that the "fan favourite" can be manipulated by the public.

And in the Final Round, we will have one more round of voting where you guys decide the winner from the final 2.

I personally think that it should be the final three instead. Main point is from what you see in the finals of Cycle 3, the voting was terribly skewed with four participants with one being left behind by miles. The final two would be a little bit too little, in my opinion. Public votes are very likely to be manipulated if there was a choice of only between two participants.

And I hope to meet Adam, Eirwen, and Adeline.

I'm not sure I understand the new judging rules at all.

From what I can understand;

• Judges score each model by placing them in a list from what they think the best is to what they think is the one not up to standards.
• Scores are distributed based on position in the lists and are all calculated.
• The scores given are the lowest at the top and higher at the bottom.
• Scores are tallied together between judges.
• Highest two scoring participants are nominated for elimination.
• Judges discuss on which of the two will be eliminated.

Did you get to participate in the fan voting? It was going on all last week.

if not, the fans were able to vote for 4 out of the 8 models each round. They got to see all the pictures from each round.

Say Model B takes weak pictures, and is eliminated in Round 2 by the Judges. She has 100 friends and they all come and vote for her, and she gets back into the competition for Round 6. But her picture is still weak compared to the other 3 models. She gets eliminated by the judges again.

As you can see above, the Fan Favorite vote did nothing for Model B. She had a lot of "fans" but she had weak pictures.

As for a final 3, Tyriont, and future hosts of ENTM are more than welcome to do it that way! I, personally, am going with a Final 2 for the Youtube series.

Oh good! xD After Fruity Tooty, you are probably the second biggest fan, so it would have sucked if not. xD

As for the Premier Party on the 1st, we will be meeting on Coeurl, but not sure what time yet. How does 6pm Central sound? Too early? Still 4pm on the West Coast, so maybe 7 or 8pm Central is better? Its hard to not be too early for the West and too late for the East. Hehe. Whatever time the party starts, I will release the episode an hour after. That way we can all hang out for an hour, do the raffle number drawing, watch the episode, and then choose a raffle winner.

The traffic in our thread has really died down, but I hope all 8 Youtube Models can make it, as well as the Judges and then you guys. I will send out an Email to all the models from Previous Cycles as well, and ask Tyriont to email the Cycle 3 Models. That will get us a nice turn out...possibly. I -could- make a separate thread for it, but I think the non ENTM forum members would kill me! D: I could make it the premier thread, and have it count down til Monday's release or something. I dunno.

I'm probably the worst person to ask about timezones. I still get confused even after looking them up. I think I'm cool with 7 or 8pm central, if I calculated it right (I'm at UTC+8).
