Oh geeze, I knew it was gonna be close Tinsley, but I went to bed early cause it was stressing me out and I didn't wanna count the minutes down as it was happening >.< I love your first free-style shot a lot. Such a badass close-up shot. I would have never thought of using the barrier as a background, but it turned out awesome! Makes me one wanna try one too.

I cannot believe this 2.5 month journey is coming to close. Going through those portfolio's is so nostalgic. I remember so many awesome memorable shots. Ronberku's Library one, Yunie and Kaelah's Snow shots, Yuni and Jayzans Hullbreakers, Kin's NPC one, Kurri's rain shot, Vahn's waterfall, Ciara's chocobo, etc etc. I wish it was possible to have some sort of cross-server reunion and drink and reminisce.

I think win or lose, I'm most proud of the growth I made (and others noticably too!). I think conceptually about screenshots so differently now than I do before. Angles, colors, lights...there's a lot to it. Especially coming from someone who doesn't consider himself very artistic, it's been an awesome exploration. I think my favorite shot I took this season was probably the crystal one. Finally, Tri-Disaster had a use. lol

I did wanna give Yuni a quick shout-out though for completely getting my overly complicated backstory for this shot though O_O Holy shiz girl, you nailed it.
After submitting it I figured most people would probably figure it (deservedly) a crying-in-the-rain shot. But I figured the location around Gridania and wearing the Pilgrim's robe in my head might make some allusions to Edda. Watch out for Tam-Tara Extreme!

I really wanted to make my action shot in the previous rounds revolve around that fight, but the lighting was poor and it was crazy busy to try to heal and take photos.

Yah, the butterflies in my tummy were real this time around waiting to see which of us made it through but, it would have been a crime if you weren't in the top 3. I'm rooting for ya. yes i know i voted for jayzan but i love maxwell just as much


thank you for the compliment on that shot. I love how it turned out, I know it's dark but to me it has a "graphic novel" feel to it coloring wise. It was an afterthought honestly as i never even considered taking a shot there but did just for giggles to see the effect and it turned out really well
