ENTM Prelim Round 3 - Ifrit Shot

I actually really liked your character pose, and the fact that your axe makes a good contact with the ground creating an interesting line of action. My biggest gripe with this image is that the effect in the middle is so blaring it almost takes away too much focus from the model. (SECONDLY YOU MANAGED TO GET IFRIT TO GIVE YOU A THUMBS UP. So SERIOUS props for that LOL, seriously did anyone else notice this???)

Thank you for the comments. Didn't notice the thumbs-up and now I can't unsee it. Does anybody else picture him going "Aaaaeeeyyy!" like the Fonz?

I am a sucker for lens flare. That's kind of what the attack looks like the moment this shot was captured in-game. It is a very nice composition of both battle and scene, but perhaps if the fighter and monster himself had been a little bit further to the left or the right.

obviously I like mid battle shots, but I feel like this one could have been a tad more up close? It's such a powerful picture but I think it would have done more justice up close.

Another great action shot in the midst of a battle, which I’m enjoying so much this go-around. The elements of the eclipse, Ifrit getting hit, and the flames behind you makes this a very interesting shot!

I wanted to give this shot a 3 but then I noticed you were killing him with a fist instead of your super sexy axe. To me it took away from the coolness of the shot.

Again thanks for the feedback. I didn't think I would score as high as that after seeing some of the other pictures in the round.
