i am prolly an idiot but why do we only vote for 8? How does this round work?

8 is plenty! It's a huge number, allowing you to vote for your friends, favorite model, and models you think actually deserve to go into the top 16(if your friends and favorite models aren't already deserving xD), while allowing 4 models to easily be eliminated.

Annnnnd once we get to the 16 you guys will only choose 5 for the first few rounds for the same reason. Remember when you had to pick 2 from each category and no body voted because it was "too much work?" Lol. Now that we're at a smaller number both model wise and number of votes wise hopefully more people will participate. ^^

So its the friends votes plus the judge votes still then? The top 16 with the combined score.
