For Preliminary Round 2 you will need to find a sunny, quiet spot near one of the many rivers or Eorzea. You shouldn't be in the water, but on the banks. Weather must be sunny, so time of day must be around noon time. No waterfalls. Gear and it's color are up to you. The background/scenery you choose should be epic/beautiful/serene!

Didn't get those extra bits either. :P Either way, I personally find two photos this round questionable (one is by an obviously stagnant and small pond, and one where I didn't see water at all - edit: Had to look hard, but I found the water in the corner of the pic XD........), but Rongi accepted them, so... @_@

Looks like I won't have to stress over the rest of the photos, haha.

Edit: Just read the above post and I agree. It'd also be nice to hear input from the models too if possible, like what they were aiming for with the shot to see how well they captured/presented it.

I'd love to share such info. For instance, in the first round I was trying to show that Kae had gotten lost in the desert, night had fallen and it was really cold. She manages to tame a fire sprite and use it for warmth. :3 The whole hands up thing was to show her warming her hands on it. I shoulda zoomed in more in hindsight I suppose.

perhaps u were talking about mine? I actually did have a more scenic pic but i replaced it last minute due to my scenic on round 1 not being very popular( + i had the line "tell a story" in my description) i figured singing on the bank of a river was more worthy of what people were expecting .


thats my original... lesson learned always stick with ur 1st


in anycase I have no issues with anyones photos and i think everyone did awesome!
