This alt shot was ALMOST my submission, but I didn't like the lighting on me so much (tho the weather was SO MUCH BETTER), and also, the expression in the actually submitted shot was way better. What do you guys think?

Kat, I think that Yoruichi is pretty nice actually. 100 percent right on isn't possible but you have the colors, the style and the feel. That's one of the big things about cosplay...

I love love love this theme for the round and spend many hours trying to get a good shot and then sorting through the hundreds I took. I do agree about the 3/4 view thing, Doki, but the front of the darn coat (which was the closest match for cosplay purposes) really destroyed the look. Other angles showed the hair better as well but the front of the style was also inaccurate. :P Which was really a shame since with some slight changes at the aesthetitian my character is a dead ringer for Genesis. XD

I had been at that location for a couple of hours and was just sorting through some of the thunderstorm pics from there while waiting for the daylight and a weather change when suddenly I looked over to find this beautiful sunrise! The hazy golden light was falling on his coat so beautifully... I immediately started taking tons of shots and then when the light got too off I started digging through to find just the right one. I was really happy with the background and lighting in the pic I submitted since it really just seemed to fit Genesis' story and character.

I was really busy the last few days and just got to check out the judging for round 1 again. It seems not many people are fond of the skimpy style I force on my character... XD But yeah, none of you know me so I should have taken that into account when deciding. If any of you visit me on Sarg remind me to show you my sexy policeman outfit. *eyebrow wiggle*

if I had any gripes with it, it would be that maybe Ul'dah would have been a better place to take the picture, I think it would have represented King's Landing better.

It's really funny that you mention that, Drarorm. My original idea was to take the shot in Ul'Dah, for that exact same reason. However, what happened was that the main constructive criticism I received last round was that I needed more CONTRAST in my shots (that, and that I need to be the star of the shot, but oh well). I did some shots in Ul'Dah then, and... well, I'm just gonna show you a bonus alt shot cuz you were so kind in to me in your voting And because like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words...

And Brun... OMG. Why aren't we in the same server? hahahah

OK, now that got me REALLY curious, I'd really like to talk about it once the round has passed. I didn't submit this one because I was certain I'd get bad reviews from the lack of contrast in the color composition of the shot (because it's mainly brown-ish with no real lighting differences, even the armor feels like it blends itself a little in the background). Plz save this for later, hahah.
