Another thread got me thinking about my favorite minions and... That would be such a fun theme to screenshot! Why can't auditions be over yet? Why hasn't anyone on Brynhildr I've been pimping to taken my bait?
When I get into something, I REALLY get into it.

Oh..! That would make for an interesting theme what with all the many different kinds of minions there are. :O
Farewell Cycle Three~ We will miss thee!
Anyway, I wish I could have fit more people into the picture, but at most I can only do six at a time. D:
Would you guys say different outfits in each screenshot is ideal for application? I got all excited last night and stalked good spots for good weather but forgot to change my outfit, and now I'm wondering if I should go reshoot them because even if my pink whm glamour is on point, it is only ONE outfit.

I do believe entries aren't final until the deadline since I was told "yes" when asking about posting all at once or just enter and edit post as entries complete for multiple character submissions. Some of my characters share outfits in their close up and scenit shots because it suited the character in that scene. My low levels lack a large variety and just have combat and casual gear.
Look at your screenshots and ask one last question... "Does this outfit look good for the scene in this shot?"
I retook Terrini's scenic using THREE different outfits because I realized the best outfit or that scene was her Yukata... It's ultimately your choice though. Having options certainly can't hurt.

ADAAAMMM, that picture is pretty sweet! is now my desktop background. ^.^
And Sang, love the pictures of Adeline. Also nice work!

that whole thing sounds interesting but the voice providing etc is quite the turnoff for me...
Will there be a regular cycle someday as well?![]()

That is all personal preference on your part, you need to ask yourself these questions, Does my outfit fit with the theme Rongi has set already, does it fit with the theme I wanted to go with, and Does it match my shot I'm in? if you can answer those questions with it Does fit your shots in all those aspects, it should be ok if it's the same. I was in Cycle 3 and used 2 outfits that had several pieces that were the same glamor (I did dye them different colors) but because it matched the theme and my actual shot, the judges were ok with them and liked it(though I don't know if they ever noticed it was the same outfit almost lol.) I hope that helps ^.^, you still have till April to change and pick your perfect shotWould you guys say different outfits in each screenshot is ideal for application? Short answer yes! Cycle 4 of the normal ENTM starts soonish!Alright, ENTMers! I promised some news on Cycle 4 after the PAX East panel and here it is.
Given that the release date for Heavensward is officially in June, Cycle 4 WILL be held before 3.0 drops. I intend to theme it around a celebration of everything ARR, with shoots designed around the various things that helped pull FFXIV out of the fire and turn it into the game we all love today. I don't have an official date in mind yet, but I want to let you know a few things.
First off, this Cycle WILL be shorter than Cycle 3. I felt that Cycle 3 started to run out of steam towards the end. Note, that doesn't mean fewer models! So don't get discouraged if you were planning on participating. While I will be capping things for obvious reasons, I'm more inclined to have less rounds and more double-eliminations than fewer models.
Secondly, I'm going to be putting up a poll sometime within this next week to get some fan feedback as to some changes to the format - most significantly how voting should be handled in regards to judge scores vs public scores.
Thirdly! As I mentioned during the last cycle, judges will have to "audition" as well. When I've settled on a date, I'm going to announce how that will work too - for now, I would like to prioritize previous judges/models for the judging positions.
Lastly! It's been a while since Cycle 3 ended. I've been tossing this around in my head a bit and have decided that for Cycle 4 applicants there are to be NO restrictions or requirements. "But Ty, you dashingly handsome pirate with an incredibly sexy accent!" I hear you cry. "What does that actually mean?" Well, it means that unless you're judging everyone can apply. Previous model? Come try again! Previous judge? Same! Previous host? Even Rongi is welcome to apply if he wants! It also means that I'm not planning on sorting by race/gender. Last time we had a lot of issues with people dropping - which actually worked out in the end, but I'd like to avoid that again. I feel that restricting ourselves to x race or gender applicants only hurts us in the long run. Does that mean we're going to see a lot more Miqo'te than Elezen or Roegadyn? Yeah, probably. But that's how Eorzea's population goes and with Cycle 4 being a celebration of all things ARR, I almost feel as if winding up with an applicant pool that more directly represents the population will be fitting. I also don't feel right about restricting some very strong applicants merely because most of the population happens to have a tail, or be three feet tall, or whatever.
That's all for now. I'll be posting more later in the week. So, in the words of a man we're all very familiar with...
Please Look Forward To It.
