Raquelle - I like the pose, and I think it fits well with the overall theme. I'm not sure if you're adjusting your mask, coughing, or struggling to breathe, but I can imagine you doing any of these things, and it brings the scene to life for me. My biggest critique is your gear. Although your bandana matches, the fact that you are wearing current poetics gear implies that you did not put thought into the wardrobe (even if you did). Still, the pose and the overall composition (you're centered, but the angle of the background is nice) of the image are wonderful, and you get my vote.

I chose the poetics gear because it looks sci-fi medical compared to the ancient biohazard looking background ;A;

Raquelle - The pastels in the background really accent your hair and choice of clothes! I'm diggin it. The only gripe I have is that I know that emote you're doing is the is very similar to the giggle Miqo'te girls do (I know it's not its the 'uh oh' one right? Forgot exact one), so I can't help but feel like you're giggling xD! Anyway Great shot!

I can't wait to meet all of you on the next meet-up (this month in case anyone forgot... unless it was changed - *sob*) and have a nice chat over some cup of tea!.. With it being held in a different server (can someone tell me which one so I can make my character there?), I'm sure I'll be able to attend this time for sure unlike the last one!

Santherelle here, You might know me as one of the judges for Round 3 or The newly transformed Rongi’s Elezen fiancé. (as an aside, wow does she make a beautiful Elezen.)

While talking to Rongi I came up with an idea that he (now She) whole heartadly gave his (her) support to.

Because during our last get-together on Balmung it was problematic for everyone to join us because of character creation limits so we decided to create an Eorzea's Next Top Model Free Company on a lower population server. We picked Coeurl because it had an open availability and it’s cheap, available, housing.

Well many days of level grinding later I got to 25 and have just started the petition to form the Free Company. So it is an official open invitation to come join me on Coeurl and start this Free company properly. And if enough of us level up and donate gil we can get a nice house on the beach for our get-togethers and have a spot for photo shooting!

Who knows, there may be an Eorzea's Next Top Model Coeurl edition with all the members of the free company in the future!

Being that the servers are going down in a few hours I will stay in Limsa Lominsa in the Aetherite plaza for at least the next hour if anyone wants to join up.


Shoot my alt Sighing Sun a pm and we can get you in party and start the ball rolling!

On a seperate note, i'd like to apologise for my lack of posting. Life has been chaotic :/


And, for anyone interested;
Here's an alternative to the biohazard one. i wanted it to have a feeling of a scientist or researcher in a new, strange place, collecting samples - hence why i chose the one i submitted, i felt the armour fitted better. This one however, was Rongi's fave out of 3. Maybe i shoud have listened? lol :P

And this was my personal fave but felt it might have been too dark overall.

Some alternatives to the beastmen battle shot. I chose Ixal because they were a suitable height for my max height elezen lol.

Aaaand alternatives to the starry night theme. Yeah, i went with the backshot. I felt it told a story more so than the others :P it was pretty much a case of 'eeny meeny miny mo' on this one though -.-'

Looking forward to seeing what you guys came up with for the following rounds and super excited to see it all come together as the youtube video <3

Round 6 (Girl Power!)
Raquelle - I love everything about this shot! The gear, the coordination, the poses, the framing, the location, the weather... Oh... the lighting could be a little better. It's OK on you but could be a little brighter, especially on the girl on the left. So, almost everything, but still a very excellent shot!

Round 7 (Free Style Battle Shot)
Raquelle - I can only imagine how excited you must have been when you saw this in your screenshot folder. This time, I do love absolutely everything about your shot. The action shot is superb, and you can even see the surprise and horror on the Mamool Ja's face as he realizes he's been fatally stabbed. The weather and the water reflection add tremendous mood to the shot, and that lightning bolt is icing on a very, very delicious cake.

Girl Power: There wasn't enough sun minions around xD
Free Style Battle Shot: I waited hours for the weather, and killed many Mamool Ja in the process. The skill I used was Savage Blade (mid swing), with the gear I was wearing they died pretty fast ;A; it was 1 Mamool Ja per try. Had to fraps the entire thing and pick out the frame I wanted.

I'd just like to make a small comment, about Raquelle! Both your shots are so amazing, so well thought out, it honestly was my favorite of both rounds and I just want to cheer you on! The others shots were amazing, and honestly it was a close call. But I just personally felt you nailed both themes just a lil' more and with such amazing shots!

2nd choice for Freestyle Battle Shot

For the battle shot i tried so many different things that it ended up being a tough decision for me, here are a few of my other favorites:


The mob and effect was interesting but the background seemed a bit blah


The effect here was super cool and the mob was all glowy, but i had one hell of a panty shot


This one i almost submitted because i personally loooove the blur flare was creating, but when I asked the opinions of some of my friends they didn't like it at all, said it was too blurry, so I ended up choosing the one i entered. :P

I actually really like that last one a lot Sam, the only thing I find issues with is the clipping on the robe. I know the animation is that the robe is flipped up, but it just looks a bit off :< I actually really dig the blur effect!!
