Oh wow, thank you! All the things both judges and voters have said about my screenshot - it blew me away! Thank you, all of you!



I knew from weeks beforehand that if I made it to Round 9, that's the angle I wanted to use. Finding a tree and fruit to work with my concept took a lot of searching, and I made myself motionsick from walking around with the camera zoomed in at an overhead angle, trying to pinpoint a low enough hanging fruit that wasn't too obscured by branches.

Then it was a matter of finding the right framing. One of the corners was rather empty, even when trying to make use of the shadows that passed a few times per day:

Tried enlisting the aid of my bird, but he just wouldn't cooperate:

Almost went with this one, but It was still just too empty:

The fairies helped bring a story to the image, in my opinion, and it seems a lot of people agreed ♥

I want to thank my friends who agreed to get pulled away from soldiery farming, adventures, and retainer bells, in order to stand by me for hours and hours while I was tweaking angles and lighting, and waiting for weather and daylight...

Despite crippling near-death experiences. (It turns out I had to have surgery, nearly dying from infection before the surgery even happened. I had a wholly rotten Gall Bladder inside me. Not sure how, or why considering my dietary habits are actually...very good. which is scary.) I was able to get a shot in. If I'm eliminated I dont mind I turned in a shot that was what I wanted, and I was ABLE to do so.

I STILL CAN.

I'm still here. <3 I'll be recovering now, and sharing smiles with friends. <3 I couldn't be in a happier place.

I'm sorry to see so many go at once. Scary! Quadrouple elimination, that must be a first in ENTM history, right? o.o A free week over the holidays was badly needed, because it's a LOT of screenshots to take and many weeks of work (I have no idea how the contestants of Cycle 1 managed their shorter rounds, though, without burning themselves out!). The price was a nailbiter round x_x

In other news, this round has gotten me stumped so it's no surprise. However, I'm glad someone noticed the reference! The only fuzzy thing we could find that looked remotely close was that bear mount. xD

Bizarre Sidenote:

Adeline and Rhaya are the last two catladies in this competition! And you guys had such similar compositions that it blindsided me. You both had 3 Miqo’te, 1 Roegadyn, and 1 Lalafell in your shot, with Adeline having an additional Elezen… Adeline went for dominantly hot colors, while Rhaya went for cool ones… You two are truly two sides of the same coin!

Both party like there’s no tomorrow when the name of the game is to relax! But I bet you get some of the best sleep ever afterward!

It's sad that nobody realises that I'm on a drunken adventure. Maybe I didn't portray 'being drunk' enough? I've only been told that people drink to relieve stress and to relax. Something like that at the least. Truth be told, drinking is something I can't do so I've no clue how it is to be drunk. I just took something that looked extremely exaggerated and strange, and turned it into a picture.

Anyway, great screenshots this round! But by the looks of things, I may have missed the mark with this round. Good luck to all the other models!

I actually really like the colors of your pic Adam :3 I have a weakness for vibrant shots ^_^ As far as description goes as many have said before, next cycle hopefully future models will be given the option to be able to describe their shots
