Yay Maxwell XD!

Yay Maxwell XD!

Woohoo! Look at the first page, Max! You look great! ^^
I need to send Yunie a picture of Rongi that measures up to Tyriont's sexy pic on the Casting Call thread so she can switch those out haha.
FruityTootie, you are one of the few models interested in the YT Cycle. xD It'll be an experiment that hopefully spawns a series just like Cycle 1 did! ^^

I'll try to not disappoint you ^_~
If you need models to have voices, I wont be able to as I do not have access to a mic :<

Here are the tricks to taking awesome shots*Had to dig into his previous post*

I really wanna emphasize future contestants to look at Epsil's notes on page 159 for some good screenshot tips! I wanted to help out new contestants too, so I wanted to include a (hopefully) brief tutorial on the Wind-Up Sun minion. I think pretty much all of the Cycle 2 contestants would agree -- it's a must have.
*will edit with pictures momentarily*
Step 1: Buy an elixir from somewhere and head to the Isle's of Umbra from Aleport's Ferry Skipper. Arrive on the corner of this map and you'll be greeted by a magic pot in the corner. /hug him, as he's about to give you one of the coolest screenshot making tools in the game for a steal! Trade him the elixir and you've got yourself the minion!
Step 2: The Sun-Minion is fantastic for many reasons, but the most obvious is it provides wonderful *stage lighting* that really helps brighten up YOU in shots with dark backgrounds. You can even /poke it to go up and down to get different angles of lighting! And best of all, when you hit scroll-lock, the minion disappears from the screenshot field but leaves the light behind![]()
Step 3: Another fantastic way to utilize this minion is to lock-on to it in order to move the center of your screenshot away from yourself. You can do this with anything really, other minions, pets, mobs, NPCs, other characters - but the sun minion is great because it holds still! Once you get it locked on and at an angle you want, don't worry about your face, you can hit a button to make your character face the screen! On computer, it's 'Pause' for me. You can even change the angle to have your character look off to the distance if you change the angle off the screenshot after hitting pause.
Step 4: The last lesson I can offer is using a combination of all of the above. Using the light from the minion in combination with locking onto a mob in the background lets you make some fantastically dynamic shots all by yourself while still maintaining light. In the next example, I lock onto a mob in the background instead of the minion, but maintain proximity to the light. In addition, I'm hitting an emote expression and using the pause button to have my character face in a different direction. You can weave motion emotes into this as well if you hit the emote before locking on...it's more difficult, but not impossible. Keep at it to practice. Also examine how *much* light is hitting you by the sun minion. Make sure it doesn't wash you out! That will hurt more than help at that point.![]()
Disclaimer: These are by no means 'fantastic' shots, but I hope they serve as a tutorial. Also do NOT feel compelled to do this in every shot. Jayzan in Cycle 2 got a perfect judge's score in the beach shot even being fully centered because he knocked the theme out of the park. There's no prescribed formula for this competition, but hopefully providing more tools helps you think of making screenshots in different ways.

Haha for sure!
Any of my judges not able to record their voices for the YT version? Need to know so I can cast some people from VAA for you haha.

Where were you able to vote ?
