I love how everyone is so afraid of going home, but tinsley has only 4 votes and isn't crying at all. -_-

I would suggest to have this round as bonus and go double elimination next round, provided that the judges will only evaluate the 80% crystal shots for their efforts

just my 2 gil here... offering a retake kinda gives the ones doing it an edge. we've seen the competition and can potentially take the comments and turn in a winning shot. thus.. making it unfair to the ones that didnt have to/ chose not to redo their shots.

In my opinion and since im sitting on the bottom with votes i can say this, Lets just end this round now.. i'll take my elimination gracefully and the top 5 can move on. I was getting the least number of votes by a decent margin so I will fall on the knife as the saying goes. This moves Cycle 2 to the next round as planned no hard feelings as the top 5 deservedly move forward. as fair as possible in my opinion.

Honestly, I felt all the submitted pictures fit the theme. Sorry no one else did.

I removed the ~80% so that everyone would stop arguing about what ~80% means, not because I am biased for or against any of the models.

Since it's such a big deal, I am offering a reshoot. If that is gonna cause models to drop out, then i'll just cancel the round and we will do a double elimination in the next.

But I am not going to disqualify two models because the pictures they submitted do not stand up to the voters or other models standards.

You'll never be able to please everyone Rongi~ but making models reshoot short notice isn't the answer in my opinion. Just creates more work for the models and yourself. Maybe end this round and do double elimination for the next.

There wont be any double eliminations, and instead of a Final 2, we will have a Final 3.

Models! The final round is a FREE STYLE shot, as from your email, but please update that to be TWO free style shots. Since we will have a Final 3, I want all of you to submit TWO shots that the judges and voters can look at along with your previous photos submitted. (Think Project Runway's final Runway show! You get to show off YOUR stuff, no theme attached.)

It's kind of a pity the round had to end like this. The shots were very pretty, and I worked for a couple hours on my own. So much Tri-Disaster spamming lol

But I like the solution overall where no one gets disqualified.

For the future though, it does raise a good point about rule interpretations. When I read the prompts, I try to take them very seriously with the requirements listed. Maybe it's the stress from a model perspective, but I try to take things very literally as to not get disqualified on a technicality. So I do think it was fair to interpret backgrounds that had less than 50% crystals as stretching it. It's great that you're trying to work with us and be flexible, but maybe it goes to show not to make quantifiable directions again. I'm not trying to criticize or attack you, but just wanna give some constructive feedback to reduce the drama in the future. Although that suggestion is probably obvious at this point. Regardless, thank you for working with us and running behind the scenes. Hopefully the fun outweighs the stress.
