Please create a public test realm.

I'm not here to complain about any specific changes. However, sometimes I feel like SE implements things that could've been finely tuned if they had people test it that weren't their own staff. A public test realm would benefit the player base and SE itself.

I agree. I do not see the reason for hiding the patch notes for so long.

Yeah it will make the market go crazy, but the market goes crazy anyway.

aye, alot of changes were made between beta / open beta / and release. i think their staff forget how people want to play, or just have very different styles to us, and they also the know mechanics of fights first time.

I guess some companies decide against public test servers. I'm guessing it's largely because 99% of public test server people (and I'll have to include myself in this if I want to be honest) use it as a "preview" server and and almost never report bug or offer feedback other that "I hate this nerf".

So the incentives can be a bit, underwhelming at times.

They did this for FFXI and there was like 1-3 people on it at a time. Wasn't much interest it seems.

Release patch note early, PTR will greatly impact in market situation.
Ppl who first access to this information will take advantage by stock piling materials for selling in next patch.

In example : Yukata event, Spring Skirt and its material's price has sky rocketting cuz event gear is short skrit but ppl wants long skirt.

Still feel it would benefit it a lot. Instead of all these patches that come out to fix stuff they screwed up they can fix it before that patch

Test servers where you rely on user input to better the game is a fallacy.

You have a QA team to test patches on a test server. Having a user base as a "QA team" is nothing but a huge group of people complaining they don't like the new content, fixes, patches.

People use it as "look at the new content I get access to first!"
People use it as "this updates suck!"
People use it as "why isn't this live yet?!"
People use it as "let me post screenshots of all the new content!"

What people should be using it as, "hey X is broken when I do Z".
