With 2.35 an FC member can now be kicked even if they have purchased a private room. However, they will still lose their 300,000 gil even if they were kicked involuntarily, or accidentally. This is a system that has some potential for abuse. To prevent this, Square should turn private room purchases into a voucher-based system. For 300,000 gil you can purchase a voucher for a private room, and when you use that voucher you get access to your private room. When you need to remove that private room for any reason (FC upgrading to a larger house, member is changing FC's, member is being kicked from FC, etc...), then that voucher is sent back to the player via mogmail. This way the 300,000 gil for the private room is permanently removed from the game economy but the 300,000 gil doesn't simply vanish into nothing if the private room must be removed - the player will receive their voucher back and can use it elsewhere when they choose.
