Thread: All PvP Changes Patch 2.35

Nerfing Aetherflow..... Seriously? There is no reason that needs to be debuffed. Both jobs rely too heavily on it to be able to be dispelled. Stupid move on their part.

Also wth is up with this crazy melee buff? So, its not bad enough that BLM and SMN become punching bags the moment were targeted by a melee with equanimity down, but now they get to kill us even faster? Yay!

Get rid of the directional casting BS and make Equanimity a 1min recast prz. Even with Equanimity up, all any smart melee has to do is continuously circle us and we won't be able to get a single spell off. No idea why BRD is made to interrupt mages casting though, what kind idiotic idea was that? "Hey guys, let's have one ranged completely disable the others just by auto attacking!" It's dumb. Guess I'll just be gettting rid of MNKs first now while everyone focuses healer lol

BLMs (and SMNs to a lesser extent) are capable of doing, by FAR, the highest level of sustained damage output in PvP when they aren't being focused. Not being able to cast while being attacked is the trade-off for that kind of massive advantage.

Meh you're right. The initial shock after they "nerfed" SMN/SCH aethyrflow while melee got buffed kind of got to me lol I never do see melee do good dps in PvP ever. Mostly I see is usually SMN(followed by BLM, then BRD in 3rd)doing top damage, but that's because of Bane and having DoTs on multiple people. It's a good way to give the healers too much to handle so need to choose where their next heal is going. I still believe that they shouldn't have don't that to SMN/SCH though, Aethyrflow is way to essential for the job for it to just be removed by an ability.
