In a way this is EXCELLENT FANTASTIC AMAZING mechanic. Simply putting a brute force instant death move and smack players who refuse to learn game mechanic is great way to enforce "DDR or DIE". But I can see how this has become a big problem in DF party, since you are thrown in together with random players who may not be aware of these and never learn how to play their roles properly. If anything SE should "fixed" the instant death move to leave you with 500 HP and 150 HP poison tick per second, you won't die, but if your healer is slow with the heal, you will surely die within the next 3-4 seconds.
