And it would be fairly easy to ensure that rly - I read one post discussing how SE bases everything on mechanics and if you don't follow them you pretty much wipe which is true.... All that would need to be done is - don't make some of the elements insta-death or to have impact on whole party. Such as - dive bombs push back only the targeted player, touching the wall causes massive damage but for example if you are ilvl110 you can take one hit but you need to be healed up quite fast, twisters do a lot of damage but aren't fatal for you or ppl next to you. That sort of thing. Because most of the ppl die on those things because they are unforgiving for you or party if one messes up...

and yes.... most of the people still haven't done t5 and PF parties that are "going for the kill" are still a joke.

Great T5 Easy Mode idea

I mostly agree with this, except the divebombs. I still thing it should target everyone, but have less knockback. Enough to teach parties that they need to group tightly or else they will be knocked back. Of course when they attempt normal mode, they might have to compensate for a higher knockback than they were once used to, but nothing too difficult to adapt to.

I think a issue that people don't realize would cone up if there was an easy mode coil with no rewards is that since there no reason to repeat it there be less people in the long run doing it. Unless there was a roulette for it no one would likely do it more then once. In the end it would end up how low lv dungeons were before roulettes, people who miss the first rush get stuck on it for hours or days just trying to get in.

ummm, you do realize a lot of people view FFXIV as "just a game" right lol ? Trying to compare FFXIV to a real-life job is sort of laughable IMHO. We're talking about a **GAME** As far as I am aware, once I log off FFXIV, nothing in my real-life is affected by anything I've done in-game. A lot of people play MMORPG as an escape from real-life, not to emulate every aspect of real-life in-game. So if people want "easy mode" in-game, what's the problem ? As far as I know, implementing an "easy mode" in the game will not have any negative impact on me in real-life in any way whatsover, so I don't see what the problem other people have with it either. FFXIV isn't even an E-sport pro-competition level type of game either, so not sure why people get so uptight about this sort of thing. No one is making prize money or getting endorsements from FFXIV accomplishments as far as I know.

The great thing about being able to distinguish a game from real life, is also being able to compare them without taking everything so literal or reading into every small details. Even though it is just a game, explain that to people who take it so personally when you do not want to party with them because they can't complete content and then call you elitist.

Umm, just ignore them? If they are calling you "elitist" or other nasty things, why even pay attention to those people? These folks go on my blacklist and I don't deal with them anymore - problem solved.

Like, you press a button, you win the game and you can see all the CS you want? It doesn't affect you, so no biggie.

Yup - you are 100% correct. That would be fine with me as well - wouldn't bother me a single bit, although I'm not sure how many people would pay a subscription fee for that when you can see that for free on YouTube.

Single player games have super-easy modes as well - doesn't bother me one bit that those exist either. I'll play on whatever level I find enjoyable, and whatever levels other people want to play on is no issue to me what so ever.
