I think that's extreme, and I don't think a change like this needs to be that extreme.

No, but people wearing a full set of i45-49 crap in expert roulette and Syrcus Tower certainly are.

Hell, I saw a bard using a freaking level 30 bow in there the other night.

A level 49 ring would still spiritbond in a level 50 dungeon anyway. >.>

Ya, that's what I was getting at. You can still spiritbind an i49 ring in dungeons where it's appropriate to wear level 45-49 gear (i.e. stuff that requires item level 50-ish). I'm just tired and tripping up on explanations with actual level vs. item level. Syrcus Tower may be a level 50 dungeon (in that you have to be level 50 to enter it) but it also requires item level 70 to enter, so those level 49 accessories shouldn't SB there.
