Hmm dunno, there's also crafter/gatherer gear that can't reach higher than i55, I don't think they would lower the rate of 45-69 gear without increasing the max ilvl for those, though I do agree with your views about i70, that's what they seem to be hinting.

I suspect we will see a lot of experiments then Chocobo Dying Guides will start to appearThe fruits actually increase or decrease a certain hue (ie blue etc), therefore colour should depend on how many fruits you will feed. Some colours might need feeding different fruits. I wonder how to make white or grey chocobo.So, if our chocobo's colour changes depending on what we feed it, that means there's only 6 colours we can choose from? ): Unless it's something like the colour will change again by feeding multiple foods, like something that makes it blue and red will then make it purple.

Personally love the lack of forced composition for pre-made alliances, I see no problem with 20 Healers 3 Tanks 1 DPS
Having to have everyone in the same area is gonna be annoying though

Meant more the part about how you require a full 24. And how you can't use this for Frontline.
System will probably see more use for hunts than its intended purpose. Which is pretty sad.

Ixali quest - Besides, we're only getting a cutscene with options, Yoshida was clear during ARR development he doesn't want to implement "overworld" style travel for airships or ferries because it would create wait time for the players and require a lot of resources. (Even though the PS2 MMO FFXI managed it just fine and 1.x had ferry travel.)
You can buy the seeds with seals, no crossbreeding required... so doubt they'll net much of a profit from MB.
