At least now the only ones swapping like this should be legitimate dungeon trolls which should drastically reduce the amount of these people and it makes it more clean cut to vote kick them. They can't turn around and cry "I was SBing! That isn't against ToS!". If they're in low level/crafting gear then they are being disruptive and harassing the group plain and simple.

Yes yes, sad that you can't SB in a dungeon anymore...

... but maybe SBing ilvl 70+ gear is a more worthwhile investment? The Grade IV rates have been 'altered' for these appearently.

It sounds more like it's less worthwhile because it will sometimes yield rank III materia. They want to push people towards ilvl 90 gear.

For the spiritbonding in dungeons change: there's a difference between turning up in a full ilvl 49 set and expecting a carry (something I've rarely seen) and adding a few spiritbonding accessories on a well-geared character who's still doing their job more than adequately. Unfortunately the vocal complaints about the former have also hit the latter, and with both of these changes we'll see materia prices jump because of a few who were abusing the system.

As for spiritbonding at Urth's Gift: not everyone can do that at once, and it's something you have to spend time doing explicitly rather than taking advantage of something you'll be doing anyway. It's going to get busier, and materia are going to get harder to come by.

I don't understand why they reduced rank B HP. At the first day of patch 2.3 i knew nothing about hunts, met lvl 50 monster (Stinning Sophie) and killed it. I was pld50 with class-job gear only equipped. The only ileveled item i had was i70 sword. I killed it solo in 7 minutes with my rank 8 chokobo as a healer.
So, single players could kill rank b alone with chokobo assistance before 2.35 w/o aid of other players, but there was no reasons t do this - much time, risk of death, etc

Lol what? It takes 20 minutes for a full set to soul bind. All my slots with no +# soulbind stat or potions. Is materia slotted though. I summon my chocobo and I bind my set before he goes away. I have never binded in a dungeon in less than 20 minutes, maybe I was doing it wrong.

There's an obvious solution to SBing i49 gear. Run some of the later low level dungeons or the easier high level dungeons like AK and WP. I'm curious how SBing will work when synced lower for low level dungeons.

Or Urths Gift. Its always been the best place. Can pull everything there in 2 pulls and burn it down. Plus they're level 50 enemies their and gear is 46-49
