The fruits actually increase or decrease a certain hue (ie blue etc), therefore colour should depend on how many fruits you will feed. Some colours might need feeding different fruits. I wonder how to make white or grey chocobo.So, if our chocobo's colour changes depending on what we feed it, that means there's only 6 colours we can choose from? ): Unless it's something like the colour will change again by feeding multiple foods, like something that makes it blue and red will then make it purple.
Was this said somewhere else because I see no mention of the fruits increasing or decreasing hues, just that it will change depending what you feed it.
I'm not doubting you, like I said earlier Im sick so a lot is just going straight over my head these last few days x_x I'd just like to know where it was said like that, especially since I wanted a white chocobo
It's from the item list in the patch notes. The 6 seeds split into 3 colors, 1 deepening hue and 1 lightening. On an RGB scale, it seems.Was this said somewhere else because I see no mention of the fruits increasing or decreasing hues, just that it will change depending what you feed it.

For example;

This is going to take some serious time to get the color you're looking for.
For those that aren't too familiar with the RGB scale, in order to get a black choco, you'll need to get all 3 colors to their maximum deepness. For a white choco, you'll need to get all 3 colors to their maximum lightness. This is going to take lots of time (6 Earth hours for each fruit to take effect) and lots of fruit (depending on how many fruit it'll take to reach the maximum of each extreme).
If you read the seed item descriptions, the treats will change color in terms of shades... not just one color... so multiple treats will be needed to get a desired color. That's my thought after reading it anyway.So, if our chocobo's colour changes depending on what we feed it, that means there's only 6 colours we can choose from? ): Unless it's something like the colour will change again by feeding multiple foods, like something that makes it blue and red will then make it purple.
Yeah, I already said since then I hadnt noticed what it said on the seed descriptions
This airship building is a good lead into the FC airships down the road. My guess, as stated earlier, is that it will not depend on our existing crafting skills, but instead use a new system that will allow all players to gain access to this content.
That said, it still would be nice if FC airships involved existing crafting skills... cuz I didn't level this stuff to make dyeable gear... lol.
It would be nice if we got bonuses for having certain crafts. Like someone who has to make the deck has an easier time if they have CRP at 50, or a level 50 WVR would have an easier time making the balloon. Though, it would still be possible for someone with no crafting skill to also help.This airship building is a good lead into the FC airships down the road.
