Not all Bs were "easy" when really soloing them!
Some Bs had interesting attacks that can hurt a lot if you could not avoid it, also: were you truly soloing? (no Chocobo or Egi?)

I always fight with my chocobo out for chocobo Xp. My chocobo is rank 9 and his skill points are spread evenly. On my BLM I run him in healer stance. As for hard hitting attacks, they could be avoided. Wouldn't you use your chocobo? They are your companion for a reason.
