I did. They have 5-sec spawns, don't attack unless provoked, require less contribution to get credit, and don't drop rewards.
Unless exp is considered a reward, it seems like it would be super easy to party with someone who can solo a B rank and just sponge up the exp without getting aggroed, and having that large source of exp respawn every 5 seconds.
If exp is considered a reward though, this all is moot.

"Rank B elite marks will no longer yield rewards upon defeat.
* Upon defeating a rank B elite mark, players will only receive the reward granted by the elite mark bill in their possession."
Solo players can now earn Seals at a steady pace, enough for one i110 every three weeks. Dedicated huntmaniacs can still zerg about for infinite seals, just a bit less than they used to. Players are now encouraged to do hunting content at closer to intended group sizes.
The A-rank competition doomsday scenario will only happen if players continue to treat group hunts as a be-all end-all for progression. I guarantee you that zerging being taken away as the only method to hunt, along with the proxy nerf to big group hunting rewards will disperse a lot of competition on its own. Hunters will likely also disperse and...*gasp* do other things when their targets are on their 2-3 hour cooldowns.
It is still a perfectly viable method for players wishing to specialize in it, and still far better than any other content we have for gearing up without a static.
The unfortunate end of this is that the majority of the playerbase still has no reason to do harder things like Ramuh EX.
This is on the saner end of system changes they could make without totally breaking it over their knee or making it impossible for server-wide efforts to participate. I'm sure some people will continue to complain that they're getting less seals in a zerg now, though, because they can't flash-mob B-ranks in between A-ranks.
EDIT: And hopefully we will see more efforts to spawn S-ranks during downtimes, as well.

video games are bad
Yeah, like others have said, these changes don't mean anything for the people that hunted all of the time and ignored B's. A's and S's are where it's at. However, I am curious as to where in the patch notes it says that the spawn timers for A ranks have been increased. I didn't see that anywhere.![]()
Now imagine if you can get 10 seals from doing your daily duty finders. 6 seals from doing extreme primal, 3 seals from doing hard mode primal trials, 10 seals from ST raid run, and 15 seals from LoA raid run, 3 seals from any Coil V.1, 5 seals from any Coil V.2 dungeons, 3-5 seals from PvP.
Suddenly there is REASONS to go back and do Duty Finder during the A rank cool down. Suddenly casuals can actually upgrade their gears to level 90 in mere days doing their daily Hunt Mark and DO the duty finder to practice the Dance-Dance-Revolution-Or-You-Die-Die. Everyone is happy to be able to get seals. Hardcore can focus on hunting A' marks, less people will be inclined to deal with the zerg-a-thon since they pretty much earn enough seals per day by doing OTHER contents.
The ONE and ONLY reasons why seal is so attractive is the no lockout on how many sand and oil you can get from trading seals. If you disperse the seal distribution to other contents, it makes the old contents become somewhat attractive and provide enough incentives for casuals and hardcore alike. Farming some of these trials and dungeons for seals become an option, and in turn, helps more casual players to get "carried away" and able to complete content. Everyone wins at the end.
When you make ONE content as the most attractive reward wise, it renders everything else pointless. This is pretty much the insight from the complaints on Hunt. It was the same exact problem when FATE was the most effective ways to gain level at launch. They fixed that, in the correct way, so now FATE is the optional thing you do while you wait for your DF to load. Hunt should be the same thing, where the majority of your seals will be coming from contents on your Duty Finder.

I personally don't see how it was trying to help when I mentioned in the post he quoted of mine that I wasn't sure if exp was considered a reward or not and if it was considered a reward my entire idea/question would be moot. Especially adding "lol" to the end.
I'm not going to derail the topic anymore, I'm not going to defend my view on something like this for so long.
