This is pretty much true. It will be much harder now for anyone who doesn't have their stuff to catch up. I did hunts a lot so am not as effected but yea its going to be bad for someone wanting to catch up.So basically anyone who spammed hunts before won, and those of us who spaced it out a bit got screwed. Yay.
I mean, this sounds like a great system if it had been there from day 1. But now they've just made it harder for others to catch up on gear, while rewarding those that did nothing but hunts since the last patch.

Thing is, it doesn't matter in the end. The people who work for their gear will still be getting their gear anyways. The people who zerged for the gear, yeah they'll have it for now, but it will slow down in the next iteration of the system if they even keep it around. Letting people who don't do end game content catch up with some gear, does not mean zerg seals til your eyes bleed to get a full set of sands in a week.
People really get bloodthirsty when it comes to mindlessly obtained gear.
Idk about that i mean what's wrong with a slow down i mean did we want everyone to have i110 gear? and for ppl that don't like teaming up {like my self} this is a good thing as i see no need to rush for gear
There are people of all stripes with different PoVs on Hunts.
Fact is, there were changes coming to hunts, and there will be more changes coming in the future. With all the PoVs out there concerning this content, some groups of players would be unhappy regardless of what was done.
I believe the point behind Zumi's post is: not everyone who is late to the party is a casual, who puts progression on the backburner. Some players, who would grind hunts hardcore, will now have to work twice as hard to achieve what others have already obtained.
