titan EX.....have you seen this before...

So I've cleared the 3 primals a couple times and this current week while attempting to get my lvl 36 pally the quest rewards sword/shield (im a gear hoarder) on 1 run earlier in the week, titan went schizo. His hearts agro was on tank but titan was running after the other tank. It was a random group so I didn't think much of it then.... till I saw it happen again yesterday.

This occurs because people try to tank swap IMMEDIATELY before he pushes to heart phase. While you can't hit Titan's body during heart phase you can still generate hate.

Using a cooldown is +70 (+140 in tank stance) enmity. So if MT is only ahead by say 500 enmity, OT popping 3 cooldowns with tank stance up (why is it up during heart phase) will "pull" it.

The solution is to just let current tank hold it until after heart phase has ended.

Interesting, are they on two different agro tables? If so strange, especially since one cannot be targeted. Meh. Anywho! Thanks for the info.Good to know for future runs.

Titan's Heart has its own enmity table yes. And its target doesn't matter since Heart itself doesn't do anything to anyone.

unless they corrected it, it's not true in Titan Ex. After a few GCDs, the person with heart's hate will be the main target for titan too.

Not really. If the MT has a large lead on enmity and doesn't touch the heart at all, the heart will be red to someone else, but Titan will still attack the MT.

Titan's enmity is what determines who he attacks, the heart has nothing to do with it.

more often than I can count, I lost enmity in titan Ex even though the situation was
=> Titan red
=> heart anything but red

But that was long ago, and Titan was for me a once-and-done so I can't really prove that sadly :/
