Because the debuff is just 5 seconds and esuna has a cast time, unless the healer prepared ahead of time to esuna you, the esuna often lands just after pacification falls off.

If you try to precast Esuna it will also fail to remove pacification if Esuna lands right when pacification starts. The window for it is incredibly tight and usually not worth it.

Agreed not worth it, I usually have it timed to end the same time bloodbath falls off. Then I'll use a OGCD skill to fill pacification time. Then all is well.
