Question about Gardening.

I've planted a few seeds to begin the process of dyeing my Chocobo. What Im wondering is, as these are the first plants I've tried to grow, do I only need to tend them once a day to make sure they dont wither?

Or do I have to give them fertilizer and other things to keep them healthy?

Fertilizer only reduces the time it takes for a plant to mature (reportedly by 1 hour per fertilization).

Tending should be done at least once daily (RL day) per plant, yes. Thankfully, overtending isn't possible, so do it whenever you like.

As mentioned in the previous post,you don't need to be on it 24/7,just make sure to water once a day and you should be fine,should the plants change colour to a purple-like haze surrounding them,water them immediately or they'll wither and die (though it takes quite some time of not tending them for that to happen in the first place)

Feel free to fertilize whenever you can/feel like it since this cuts the required growth time (but I'd recommend not doing it every hour since it gets stressfull,not quite worth the hassle...)
