woops, i missed that you were specifically talking about t8.

indeed. there are other fights where I may ballad if required. Not that it matters currently since I don't run on BRD anymore. But in t5 you may want to ballad or paeon during the first set of divebombs when there is down time. Or after killing the snakes when there is down time. In t9 you may want to ballad during downtime between golem phases and/or right before Heavensfall. In Levi you may also want to ballad or paeon during down time.

Your healers may not desperately NEED ballad during these mentioned times, but if you have nothing to DPS then it certainly does not hurt to top them off.

But in fights that are all up time, like t8, foe's should be what is used unless your healers really need MP and do not have any ether pots on hand.
