


So, you want everyone to quit hunts? No reward whatsoever, besides a 1% drop rate item?I hope they change it so the only reward is some rare gear drop that has a 1% rate of dropping but is really good or unique for glamors. Get rid of the seals and oils as rewards or have them also be a drop rate on par with Atma.
But I dont think this is what they will do.



They werent supposed to be a zerg fest like FATE's were. so yeah. I would like them nerfed to the point they are like the FFXI NM's that people were asking for. oh and put a claim system in too.

I would think either a weekly cap or remove Soldier tomes along with reducing the amount of Myth tomes received. Also a boost in daily hunt rewards.

I have a few scenarios... and have ranked them in order
1) No change to elites - daily/weekly marks are worth a LOT more. If you disregard all the kill/claim/elitist trolls - hunts are some of the best social content in the game. I have met more good people outside of my normal social circles doing hunts than i have in any other content in the game.
2) More frequent pops BUT timer lockouts on individual level based on current windows. Example - the b rank in "x" zone pops every 10 minutes... but YOU as an individual will only get credit every 40 minutes for the b rank in the zone. Same deal for A's and S's at appropriate scale. This has the effect of reducing the demand on any individual mob while increasing the value of setting up long term parties - so that your all on the same timer. Biggest issue preventing this - the server load might increase to much.

Hunts were released as an alternate way to get to ilvl 110 w/o having to grind through ST or Coil - i don't think they will nerf that. SE wants as much of the player base as possible to be ilvl 110 BEFORE they introduce the next jump to ilvl 130ish with the last coil in 2.4. As much as hunts have brought out the trolls - and can be annoying because they are so popular. I think the actual concept is brilliant and exactly what this game needed right now - it introduces a reason for random people to get together and do stuff NON-Raid based - it just needs some very minor tweaking to meet the level of demand.

3) Increase mob mechanics/damage to make them more of a threat to smaller groups or unorganized groups
4) Introduce "invulnerable" period - enhancing claim-ability for casuals/less informed.
Least Likely
5) Increase HP
6) Decrease rewards





I hope they don't nerf it into the ground unless they are planning another tier (ilvl jump, item invalidating fun stuff) or another catch up content.
Having had this content out for so long a nerf would just hurt those who play less (or didnt want to be part of the drama)- a lot of players have already jumped their gear and now if you wanted to move with the wave with a nerf in your face it would be disappointing. Would be happy to see the frustrating mechanics handled though(huntboard daily, weekly, bi-weekly leve quest or something, no moar FATEs please XD).
Make it where A and S marks can only be spawned and fought by parties.

I don't get soldiery from hunts as I still do dungeons. .. so im fine with terminal of soldiery n mytho... but if u put a weekly cap on seals. .. if you don't cap out at beginning of week like mostly probably would. .. less n less people around to beat A and S ranks


You must not do many hunts then, one night of hunting and I'm capped on soldiery.
I also agree with this, I have partied with so many people that I actually started retaining names, and notice people now when I'm in zones.
