Simply put, we are looking for Talent. Think you have it?

At our core we are a guild that has been around for a very long time across a number of games. We are best known for years of dominating Everquest. Many of the players currently in FFXIV also spent time in top end guilds in numerous other MMO's after EQ started declining. We aren't interested in mass recruiting, we look for exceptional individuals and build one group at a time. If you are looking for a group to just carry you through everything, that won't happen here. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to push themselves.

Our Requirements of what we seek in a candidate.

Personality Requirements

• Players who are committed to being the absolute best
• Players who are Reliable
• Players who can Listen and follow instructions.
• Players who are Drama Free - This isn't to say we don't have a good time, we simply want people who come time to raid, know how to focus and don't act like children when they don't get their way.

Gear/Skills Requirements

• ILvl 105+ and more importantly gear that reflects an understanding of your stats/job.
• Strongly prefer a Soldiery Class or better weapon.
• All applicable Cross class abilities - We will not consider anyone who has not taken the time to get their necessary cross class abilities. The attitude of "Well I almost never use that ability anyhow" doesn't fly here.
• Food and Consumables usage - If I have to explain why you should have a constant supply of HQ food and consumables, this probably isn't a good fit for you.

Progression Requirements

• Turn 6 Downed At this point 2.2 content is on Farm for us and manyothers, as Such we are looking to prepare for the final expansion to coil and beyond. We are largely only looking at individuals who have already completed all old content and are proficient at it.
• Turn 9 Down is Greatly desired.

Entire Groups?
Yes we will consider Entire groups or Partial groups, however there are some specific conditions.
Each member of the group will be evaluated as individuals. If someone doesn't meet the requirements, we will discuss that individual and figure out a plan of action. Now generally speaking we are not going to mess with a pre-formed group that comes in. However if we see a weakness in the group we will point it out and try to help either that weakness improve or help replace. Not to say though if someone is running around being a dickbag in public they will be gone. That is not the image DH wants associated with it (Or rather, you can't be a bigger dickbag than I am).

Ok so I meet all the Requirements, Now what?

Step 1) Contact one of the following people;

• Darwen Ixthania
• Tivia Vicious
• Sixel Syn
• Cyrille Ashfall

Step 2) You will be given a time to join our mumble to determine if you fit the profile of what we are looking for.
Step 3) Pending passing of Step 2, you will be invited to join our linkshell and added to our group development spreadsheet.
Step 4) Pre-Recruit check, Now this might take some time depending on how many are on the spreadsheet at the time. But the next step is putting you into a group and beginning raiding. Bear in mind you may be put into an established group where you are the only "recruit", then again you may be put into a group full of recruits. Each situation is different, but it will be explained. This phase can last anywhere from 1 raid to a couple of weeks of raiding. This is because depending on what all is going on, it can be difficult to truly judge the performance of a player. We are aware that sometimes things are just out of the control of an individual player.
Step 5) Candidates that pass the Pre-Recruit check, will be extended an official invitation to the FC at this point. They will be tagged as a recruit for a period of time to see how they mesh as a whole into the FC. There is no specific time limit on this phase, but usually it lasts no more than a couple of weeks.

Raid Schedules
We strongly prefer Candidates who raid within our our Average time window.
Raid Window is 7PM - Midnight EST
Each group raids on their own schedule within that window typically. So for example Group 1 Raids Mon-thurs 8-11 pm EST. Each group is different, but generally we Expect raiders to raid 3-4 days per week and 3 hours during PROGRESSION, Farm schedule is your groups choosing. Our group for example raids about an hour a week for farm.

As you can see, we actually raid far less than any other progression guild in time invested. While this schedule obviously put us behind where we believe we should be ranking wise, at the end of the day we have chosen not to sacrifice our lives raiding 40+ hours a week and yet still manage to be one of the best. Case and point, turn 9, yes we finished it 5th on the server but as for total hours invested. We downed it in right at 25 hours, I doubt you will find many if any groups who can even come close to claiming that. That isn't to say you can't raid more, just saytng what we expect at minimum.

As you can tell this is far from your typical recruitment post. We aren't interested in recruiting everyone, we only want those who want to be part of a group that will push them to be the best and are willing to step up to the challenge.

We did, but not officially. That one was just a place for old members to pop in and say hello and play on whatever level they wanted. There were a few serious members, but nothing serious was ever attempted. This is the first time since EQ that we have decided to be end game under the DH tag. While many of us did quite a bit of end game in Wow, Rift and others it was with other top guilds in those games.

Ilvl 85 pally here, looking for a static but not a fc (yet). Exp 1-4 with just random pugs, I'm on Uk time zone so will have to discuss raid times, I also have a well geared WAR and monk. hit me up ingame

ilvl90 (88 BiS) SMN LF a static non FC group for turn 5 attempts. Got experience past Divebombs, also in the 3rd group to down turn 4. Our core group has fallen apart with players quitting, so we only do turns 1-4. I'm not looking for a FC, but looking for a turn 5 group.
