It can be assumed that his attacks were believed by the smartest man in the realm to be fatal. I say this because selfsame man teleported everyone with the greatest potential to fight Bahamut beyond space and time. Fighting Bahamut would be like Spine of Deathwing in WoW. No, I don't think we will fight what we saw in End of an Era in the current patch cycle. Yes, I do think that we will fight him in some form. I believe [spoiler] that the last boss of the last turn will be corrupted Loisoix due to how Second Coil ends.[/spoiler] Bahamut's EoE form is still on the mend, leading me to doubt he'd be up to form in time for us to storm the last fragment of Dalamud.
